Donate to CDN

Thank you for your consideration! Your tax-deductible donation helps us to fulfill our Mission: to connect young adults with diabetes to the people, resources, and information they need to thrive on campus and beyond, delivering innovative programs which foster a collegiate community of peers and launch the next generation of leaders in the sector.

As a small team working on some very BIG issues, we will work toward our vision, to create Empowered, Connected, and Engaged future generations of young adults with diabetes.

Be providing a donation to CDN, you are directly supporting students with type 1 diabetes.

A gift of $50 provides one Chapter with the funds they need each semester to hold meetings and recruit members.

A gift of $150 purchases an outreach kit for a Chapter who is just getting started on campus.

A gift of $500 funds a Chapter grant, allowing Chapters to host events on campus and in their communities.

A gift of $500 sends a CDN student to a diabetes conference, allowing them to meet professionals in the diabetes sector and explore future job opportunities.

Your gift is not only funding a program - it’s helping to fund the entire solution.

Other ways of Giving

Want more options? Check out the following, and email us if you're interested in learning more. When it comes to working with you to find a way to support CDN, we are happy to get creative!

Transformative Major Gift

Are you interested in contributing to CDN in a personally significant way? CDN has a Major Gifts program to provide you with a way to invest in CDN’s mission and programming. We view each gift to our organization as an investment in our mission, and we put your gift to work to exponentially increase its impact. Contact our Founder and CEO to discuss your interests and how your gift can help CDN to transform the experience of young adults with diabetes.

Stock or Mutual Funds

Charitable gifts of appreciated stock or mutual fund shares avoid capital gains taxes and are a smart way to make a cost-effective gift.

Planned Giving

Planned Giving means exactly that: planning now for how to make a charitable gift using the assets in your estate in a way that will benefit CDN and you. Gifts made through your will and special gift arrangements in estate planning not only can help CDN, but can provide you with substantial tax benefits. Also, gifts made in this manner are an excellent way to leave your legacy of support for patient education, motivation, and self-advocacy.

Charitable Gift Annuity

The Charitable Gift Annuity (CGA) is one of the most popular gift vehicles in the United States. A CGA allows people to provide for their own financial security while having the opportunity to support CDN. A CGA involves working with local community foundations to establish a contract under which they pay a fixed amount of money to one or two individuals for their lifetime, in return for a transfer of cash or marketable securities. Assets that are remaining at death can be designated to CDN. There can also be immediate tax benefits as well.

Employer Match

Many employers look to their employees to help them distribute philanthropic funds to countless charities. If your employer has a match program, they can match your gift to us and further multiply your impact!

Donor Advised Funds

A donor-advised fund program allows donors to make contributions to CDN, which are then allocated to a specific account — the individual "donor-advised fund" — from which the "donor-advisors" may then recommend grants to qualified charities. You can learn more and donate here.
